Protecting the Ramapo River Watershed in the 21st Century

Following the successful and informative 24th Annual Ramapo River Watershed Conference held on May 3 at Ramapo College of New Jersey - there will be a follow up presentation by the conference's conveners Geoff Welch: The Ramapo River Watershed Keeper and Dr. Howard Horowitz: Professor at Ramapo College. Protecting the Ramapo River Watershed in the 21st Century, a PowerPoint by Geoff Welch will be followed by comments by Professor Horowitz.

Issues include:

Over-development, Protection of Wetlands, Highway Runoff, Climate Disruption, Pesticide Use, Ford Motor Company Paint Sludge Sites and Ongoing Remediation, The Return of Bald Eagles to the Ramapo Watershed.
